Christmas in Little Falls Soup Fest

Soup Fest is a community event for Mohawk Valley non-profits, civic groups, politicians and restaurants that will take place during the Christmas in Little Falls Festival. As you enjoy the many fund events of Christmas in Little Falls. be sure to warm up by sampling some of the best soups and chowders in Little Falls! All proceeds go to benefit local charities. The Soup Fest starts at 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 in Little Falls, NY.

Welcome to the Soup Fest!

Welcome to the Mohawk Valley’s newest sensation ... The Christmas in Little Falls Soup Fest! Connoisseurs of fine dining know that the Mohawk Valley is the culinary gem of Upstate New York. Little Falls in particular is known for many great things such as rock-climbing and antiquing, but more than anything else we are known for our delicious food. Every restaurant, and every family, has a "special" recipe for soup that might be a secret recipe, or just a unique creation that has always brought a smile to those who enjoyed a spoonful of heaven.

This year for Christmas in Little Falls, we have decided to gather some of the area’s best soups along Main Street and around the community, such as at Dragonfly Fitness, for YOU to sip, slurp, and sample ... all to benefit charity. Non-profit groups, politicians and local restaurants will compete for bragging rights of “Best Soup in Little Falls”! Who will be the winner? We invite you to come on out and taste for yourself!

Be sure to sample the different soups and chowders for a $1 a cup (4oz. serving), and support our wonderful local and national charities!

Who May Participate?

Non-profits or civic groups, to raise money and awareness.
Politicians and other individuals, to raise money for their favorite charity.
Local restaurants, to raise money for their favorite charity and give people a chance to taste their yummy fare!

Here's How it Works for Contestants

If you want to participate by making and serving soup to benefit a charity, fill out this downloadable entry form. The $5.00 entry fee will be used to fund a cash prize for the winner’s favorite charity.

All participants will be assigned a convenient location in the community, and you should bring a big pot of their homemade soup (cups and spoons will be provided, courtesy of the Little Falls Family YMCA). You are also welcome to bring information about your non-profit, or to sell other items that you have available, such as mugs or shirts, etc.

During Christmas in Little Falls, everyone is invited to taste these wonderful soups and support our Mohawk Valley non-profits!
